2024 Artificial Intelligence Legal Investment Summit
On Friday, May 3rd, 2024, the ‘2024 Artificial Intelligence Legal Investment Summit,’ jointly hosted by the European Chinese Lawyers Association (ACLE) and the China-Britain Artificial Intelligence Association (CBAIA), was successfully held at the Sheraton Grand Park Lane Hotel in London, UK. In addition to attendees from London, Oxford, and other parts of the UK, there were also over 300 leading figures and elites from academia, research, and industry from various countries in Europe and China who traveled from afar to attend the event.
Currently, artificial intelligence (AI) has gradually permeated into our lives, work, various industries, and commerce. “How to use AI to accelerate our work efficiency,” “How to harness artificial intelligence for our use,” and “How to achieve multiple wins and win-win situations” were the key topics discussed at this forum.
The conference was honored to have Sir Daniel Joseph Brennan KC, a lifetime member of the British House of Lords (pictured left), and Counsellor Ding Mingqin from the Chinese Embassy in the UK (pictured right) deliver the opening speeches. Both emphasized the importance of cooperation between China and Britain in the field of artificial intelligence, offering valuable insights to promote global AI development.
Ms. Gu Qun, President of the ACLE (pictured left), and Mr. Xie Zhikai, Co-founder of the CBAIA (pictured right), delivered the opening remarks of the forum.
Following the opening speeches, experts from the fields of artificial intelligence, law, business, technology, and investment engaged in active discussions and speeches on current hot topics, combining their professional expertise to provide the latest cutting-edge knowledge and viewpoints, resonating with the attendees and prompting deeper reflection on artificial intelligence.
The forum was honored to have several well-known companies from China, including a large internet company, China Telecom, Guotai Junan Securities, and Tus-Holdings, sharing their respective AI-related businesses. Finally, Laurel Zhang Xueying, the founder and responsible person of the conference, announced the official start of the 2024 European Chinese Lawyers Association Annual Conference and China-Britain Artificial Intelligence Association’s “2024 Annual Artificial Intelligence Legal Investment Summit.”
